The Backstreet Boys have been in the music industry for over 8 1/2 years. Through out those amazing years these five talented boys not only have grown into men but they have become one of the biggest groups in the world.Drawing crowds and admiring fan's wherever they go. AJ,Brian,Howie,Kevin and Nick have dominated the music charts with their good-looks,wonderful harmonies, and their down-to-earth attitudes. Along the way they have won numerious awards ranging from MTV Video Music Awards to World Music Awards. They have even picked up a few Grammy's along the way. Some awards they have been nominated for are : -Viewer's Choice -Best Group of the Year -Album of the Year -Best Music Video (*AND MANY MORE!!*) Their amazing accomplshments haven't come easy. They Backstreet Boys have had to deal with the press and live up to not being "just another boyband". *And believe me they have!* They really are "Larger Than Life". The guys also have had a few setbacks along the way.Kevin Richardson lost his father to cancer on August 26,1991. *RIP Jerald Wayne Richardson*. Another setback wa when Brian Littrell had to undergo heart surgery, to repair a hole that doctor's found in his heart.This was caused by a defect that happened when Brian waas little.Howie lost his sister Caroline Dorough to Lupus on September 12,1998.*RIP Caroline* Nick lost his grandmother, and AJ lost his grandmother, Ursula Fernandez,earlier this year as well. Though there have been some bad times, the boys made it through. There have also been a lot of good things that have happened.Kevin got married to Kristin Willits on June 17,2001.He met Kristin while working at Disney World..(* He waas Aladdin in the parades :) *) Soon after, Brian got married to a girl named Leighanne Wallace on September 2,2000.Brian met Leighanne on the set of one of their video's. ~BEST OF LUCK TO THEM!~ KTBSPA! |
